About Us

The Karnataka Sangha, one of the leading and prominent Kannada organizations in and around Thane district, established in 1967, is still growing with more than 3200 active, dynamic and dedicated members who firmly believe in the principle “Let us all live together, work together and grow together, in a cordial atmosphere”.
Equal opportunity is one of the means of achieving the goal of economic and social justice and education is significant instrument of achieving the pre-determined goal. If we give food to a person, we feed him once but if we give education to him, we feed him for a lifetime. Hence ‘Vidya Danam’ is considered superior to ‘Anna Danam’. Education is a powerful weapon to remove inequalities in the society, eradicate fanaticism and obsolete attitudes, empower the needy, uplift the down-trodden and in turn assist in national integration and public – spirited endeavour of building a strong, self –sufficient and knowledge – based nation as envisioned by our ex-president Dr. Abdul Kalam in his India vision 2020.
