Aims & Objectives

To foster Kannada language, literature, culture and to promote sports and fine arts
To promote the cause of education in all its aspects establishing and conducting a school or schools, vocational schools, night school/s and college/s through Kannada/English/Any other recognized Indian constitution. However, in case of schools other than Kannada medium school, Kannada has been introduced in college as an optional subject as per the rules of the Government.
To establish and conduct technical and professional institutions and to establish hostels for students and working women.
To acquire land/s to construct a building or buildings for housing the Sangha’s office, institutions and for providing auditorium facilities for the literary, cultural and educational activities etc.
To organize, coordinate and promote the educational, social, cultural and literary activities.
To undertake publication of books, magazines, periodicals, journals and pamphlets etc which would directly or indirectly promote the objects of the sangha.
To run and expand the library for members and to establish reading room/libraries for the use of public.
To promote the welfare by providing relief to the poor, handicapped disabled persons and also deserving students in the form of educational medical and/or other reliefs.
To promote friendly relations and spirit of cooperation amongst all the Kannadigas residing in Thane District, Greater Mumbai and its environs and try for their cultural and social advancements.
